This one-of-a-kind handmade necklace features:
*a vintage nautilus shaped 1930's brooch. This came to me entirely devoid of rhinestones, so I set it with a variety of vintage stones, including lovely moon glow stones and the most unusual swirled cabochon right on top

*The nautilus is attached to a rhinestone link from a 1930's bracelet and a cluster of hand wrapped glass beads adorns the connecting point. The entire focal measures 3.0" in length

*fully wire-wrapped oxidized sterling silver chain composed of natural kyanite ovals, aquamarine rondelles, and transparent blue glass beads salvaged from a 1930's necklace

*measures 24.5" in length and fastens with a handforged sterling hook clasp

In all my pieces, I try to use as many neglected treasures as I can. These objects are gathered from estate sales, auctions, and flea markets. While I do use modern findings, I prefer authentic miscellany to mass-produced reproductions. This means that any Tarnished Charm piece you purchase will be one-of-a kind!
